On July 2012 London England held the Olympic Games in a summer of epic sport. The men's road race which ventured through London and the home counties was won by Alexander Vinokurov riding a Specialized Tarmac S-Works SL4 OE.
The S-Works Tarmac SL4 OE was purpose built to comply with the rules of the Olympic Games, as such it features minimal branding and was manufactured using the lessons learnt from the Mclaren Venge. All bikes were hand finished and painted Neon Red to stand out on TV
To celebrate the Olympic win 260 framesets of the OE specification were released globally to the general public and this in your opportunity to own number 146 (size 58cm).
The S-Works Tarmac SL4 is a pure and unbridled race machine. It climbs effortlessly, descends confidently, and sprints ferociously. It's the lightest stiffest frame we make, and it shows as soon as you push on the pedals. Bottom line, you'll be faster on this bike. There's a reason it's the weapon of choice for the Saxo-Tinkoff, Astana and Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Pro Tour teams.
S-Works SL4 FACT 11r carbon frame has our highest stiffness-to-weight ratio ever, with tapered headtube, OSBB, and internal cable routing for race day performance
Please note this frame was previously assembled into a complete bicycle for display purposes but never ridden
